Role Summary & Impact

As a Senior Associate, Analytics, you will play a critical role in supporting Church & Dwight, a diverse CPG client and a stable WPP partner. You will be the analytical backbone for a portfolio of iconic brands (including ARM & HAMMER, OxiClean, Trojan, and Batiste), ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of media performance reporting across social, programmatic, digital, and e-commerce channels.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage and produce three large-scale brand reports simultaneously each month. This involves hands-on data cleansing, quality assurance, and collaborating closely with multiple internal investment teams to deliver actionable insights. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop robust project management skills, gain deep cross-channel analytics experience, and grow within a large, supportive analytics team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Reporting & Analytics
  • Simultaneously manage and produce 3 large monthly brand reports, creating campaign wrap-up analyses and performance summaries.
  • Aggregate and analyze large datasets from multiple media channels, including social, programmatic, digital investment, and e-commerce (search and display).
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions to manipulate data, create pivot tables, and generate insights for reporting.
  1. Data Quality Assurance (QA) & Cleansing
  • Conduct rigorous and detail-oriented QA on campaign data, including taxonomy and benchmark validation.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and flag data discrepancies (e.g., incorrect placement names, tracking issues) to the respective investment teams for correction.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure the highest level of accuracy before data is used in client-facing reports.
  1. Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a project manager for your reporting deliverables, coordinating staggered timelines and managing internal due dates across multiple teams.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal investment teams, communicating data needs and QA findings effectively.
  • Organize and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery of reports for internal reviews and client presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant work experience in media analytics, data analysis, or a related role, ideally within a media agency.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency (Critical): Mastery of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF/THEN statements, and the ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Data QA & Attention to Detail: A highly detail-oriented mindset with proven experience in data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance processes (e.g., taxonomy QA).
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines.
  • Cross-Channel Knowledge: Familiarity with reporting and metrics across various media channels (e.g., social, programmatic, search, display).

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams.
