Jobgether

Remote, US Individual Contributor
Apply

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Data Analyst based in the United States.

This is a senior individual contributor role for an analytical leader who can turn complex business questions into clear, actionable decisions.
You will work across multiple functions, including clinical operations, supplier performance, finance, product, payor and network data, and go-to-market.
The role combines deep analytical expertise with strong business judgment, allowing you to influence decisions across the organization.
You will lead high-impact analyses, establish rigorous analytical standards, and help build scalable reporting and data foundations.
You will also shape data models alongside analytics engineering and contribute to experimentation, statistical analysis, and causal inference.
As a senior voice on the analytics team, you will mentor other analysts and influence senior stakeholders without direct management responsibility.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, values analytical rigor, and wants their work to directly influence business and operational outcomes.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead end-to-end analyses for complex and ambiguous business questions, from problem definition and data exploration through recommendations, implementation, and impact measurement.
    • Design dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools that enable stakeholders to answer recurring questions independently while recognizing when a dashboard is not the appropriate solution.
    • Establish high standards for analytical rigor, methodology, documentation, and communication while reviewing and mentoring the work of other analysts.
    • Apply statistical methods, experimentation frameworks, and causal inference techniques when they provide stronger evidence and more reliable conclusions.
    • Work across multiple business domains and develop sufficient context to provide credible analytical guidance rather than becoming limited to a single functional area.
    • Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities where data can improve efficiency, growth, decision-making, and business outcomes, including proactively identifying questions that have not yet been addressed.
    • Collaborate closely with analytics engineers to influence data modeling, warehouse structures, and canonical definitions that support reliable and reusable analysis.
    • Transform recurring analytical requirements into durable data models and scalable solutions instead of relying on one-off queries.
    • Investigate inconsistencies between reports and datasets, establish trusted definitions, and help maintain a reliable analytical foundation across the organization.
    • Mentor analysts through technical guidance, analytical techniques, business judgment, and clear communication without having formal people-management responsibilities.
    • Translate complex findings into concise, understandable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Challenge assumptions when the evidence does not support a proposed conclusion and provide clear, data-backed perspectives to senior decision-makers.
    • Requirements:

      • 8+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a comparable analytical discipline, with a demonstrated history of producing insights that influenced business decisions.
      • At least 2 years operating at a senior analyst level, independently owning complex projects and contributing to analytical quality standards across a team.
      • Experience working within a centralized analytics function supporting multiple business areas and stakeholder groups.
      • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
      • Expert-level SQL skills and strong Python capabilities for statistical analysis and data exploration.
      • Advanced experience with Looker or a comparable business intelligence platform, including dashboard development, semantic-layer concepts, and LookML or equivalent capabilities.
      • Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms.
      • Working knowledge of experimentation design and causal inference, with the ability to distinguish correlation from causation and apply appropriate analytical methods.
      • Experience partnering with analytics engineers on data modeling, warehouse architecture, and scalable analytical solutions.
      • Familiarity with revenue and go-to-market data, including sales pipelines, forecasting, funnels, customer retention, and CRM data, is an advantage.
      • Strong ability to transform ambiguous or incomplete business questions into structured analytical approaches without extensive supervision.
      • Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence colleagues without formal authority and build credibility through the quality of analytical work.
      • Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business areas and support a broad range of stakeholders across an organization.
      • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
      • Sound judgment when working with sensitive information, including data related to patients or healthcare operations, is a plus.
      • Benefits:

        • Base salary range of $160,000โ€“$200,000, depending on experience and level.
        • Medical, dental, and vision coverage with options for low- or no-cost employee premiums.
        • Employer-funded contributions to a Health Savings Account.
        • 401(k) retirement plan.
        • Equity incentive plan.
        • Annual company-wide performance bonus opportunity of up to 15%.
        • Remote-first working environment with access to a dedicated office and reimbursement options for coworking spaces.
        • Flexible vacation policy.
        • Five additional Summer Fridays off each year, separate from PTO.
        • Home office and wellness stipend.
        • Monthly internet stipend.
        • Annual learning and development stipend.
        • Equal opportunity workplace committed to an inclusive and diverse working environment.
        • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.
