The Commercial Analytics Manager will serve as a strategic Business Intelligence partner, transforming complex commercial data into actionable insights that drive sales performance and growth.
This role combines analytics expertise, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to support decision-making across sales leadership and field teams.
You will analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop tools that enable teams to optimize performance and achieve business goals.
Working closely with commercial leaders and analytics teams, you will help establish a stronger data-driven culture across the organization.
The position requires the ability to translate large datasets into clear recommendations, executive presentations, and practical sales strategies.

Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary analytics partner for assigned business teams, collaborating with sales leadership, regional managers, district managers, and strategic account teams.
- Deliver performance insights, business recommendations, and thought leadership to support sales planning, execution, and performance-to-plan discussions.
- Conduct opportunity analysis including account targeting, distribution gap assessments, display effectiveness reviews, and identification of market growth opportunities.
- Translate syndicated market data and commercial performance metrics into actionable recommendations for sales and leadership teams.
- Develop and deliver market-specific analytics tools, training, and resources that enable field teams to confidently leverage data in customer conversations.
- Provide ad-hoc analytics support, including deep-dive analyses for sales meetings, distributor discussions, and retail opportunities.
- Partner with analytics team members on reporting solutions, Power BI development, data modeling, and strategic analytics initiatives.
- Support business initiatives related to planning, program tracking, ROI analysis, product launches, market resets, and distributor transitions.
- Create executive-level presentations, insight decks, and reporting materials that communicate complex findings clearly and effectively.
- Promote a data-driven culture by encouraging the adoption of analytics in commercial planning and decision-making processes.
- Participate in key business meetings to understand market challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytics processes, reporting capabilities, and business intelligence tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field required.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, sales analytics, category insights, or a related analytical function.
- Experience within the alcohol beverage industry or a comparable consumer goods environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, data modeling concepts, and analytics reporting practices.
- Ability to interpret syndicated data sources such as Circana/Nielsen and translate findings into business recommendations.
- Strong commercial understanding and experience partnering with sales teams at both executive and field levels.
- Demonstrated ability to transform complex datasets into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects independently.
