This remote opportunity is designed for an experienced clinical data professional who wants to take ownership of critical data management activities across complex clinical studies.
The Associate Clinical Data Manager will oversee study data processes from start-up through database lock, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Accountabilities:
- Lead clinical data management activities for assigned studies, including multi-site trials, patient populations, healthy volunteer studies, and projects with accelerated timelines.
- Own data management deliverables throughout the full study lifecycle, from study initiation through database lock.
- Provide direction, oversight, and quality review of data management team outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all activities follow clinical protocols, global procedures, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to develop timelines and achieve contracted milestones.
- Lead internal data-focused project meetings and coordinate activities across EDC design, programming, statistics, pharmacokinetics, and other biometrics functions.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain strong sponsor relationships by understanding requirements, addressing concerns, and supporting client satisfaction.
- Monitor scope changes, budget considerations, and timeline impacts in partnership with project leadership.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to clinical data management team members.
- Support team development through performance feedback, knowledge sharing, and career coaching.
- Stay current with emerging clinical data management technologies and industry best practices to support process improvements.
- Perform data reconciliation activities across clinical, safety, laboratory, and third-party data sources.
- Support audits, inspections, and issue resolution activities while ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Represent data management capabilities during business development activities and sponsor discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all assigned work.
- University or college degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 6โ8 years of clinical data management experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of direct sponsor management experience.
- Experience managing clinical trial data processes, biometrics operations, and supporting clinical systems.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, data management methodologies, and medical terminology.
- Experience handling customer concerns, managing scope of work, and supporting budget discussions is preferred.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively within project productivity expectations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within global and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems is preferred.
- 3+ years of EDC experience is a plus.
- Background in life sciences, health sciences, information technology, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical research standards, processes, and regulated environments is advantageous.
